PDR is a specialist technique of removing dents from your car without using filler and paint.
Providing your paint has not been removed, this process will be your most cost effective option for getting your dent removed, leaving your car looking just as it originally did.
Jason learnt his skill back in 2012 from a master of the craft, Noel Dillon, who was very well respected for his skill and used by a majority of franchised main dealers in the Somerset area.
Today, Jason continues to focus on being a resource to the motor trade, caring for many maindealers and various independent garages on a weekly basis.
Jason is also more than happy to do dent removal for private customers.
Over the years, Jason continues to refine his technique, and has helped other, now well respected, dent removal men in the southwest, to learn their skills.
Approximately 95% of dents can be repaired using this process. As long as the paint is undamaged, the metal likely can be returned to it's original position. Modern paints are highly tough and flexible, meaning that they are unaffected by the process of returning the metal to its original shape. With certain dents (for example where access to the rear of the panel is limited) it may be possible to greatly improve the damage but perhaps not quite to a 100% finish. However, you will be advised if this would be the case.
Dents where the paint is damaged can be greatly improved but naturally any defects to the paint finish would still remain. Highly creased dents, dents which are too deep or ones where the metal has been stretched beyond its elastic point may not be possible, or at least not to a high standard. You will be advised if this is the case. Quotations are free, and with no-obligation.
Firstly, cost! Repairs start at £45+VAT and heavy discounts are given for multiple dents. As bodywork normally costs approx £200-300+ per panel by a quality bodyshop, most PDR dent repairs work out to be a quarter of the cost (or much less) via the 'painted' route.
Secondly, all paint colour-match issues are eliminated. This is always a challenge for a bodyshop as the Vehicle's Paint Code will not guarantee a perfect match on the repair. A great deal of skill is required by the sprayer in tinting the paint to match.
Thirdly, this is usually a while-you-wait service. Most repairs take under an hour. Some as little as 5-10minutes.
No dropping off and collection of your vehicle. No need to be without your car for several days, as is usually the case when being repainted.
Finally, your cars paint finish is untouched, maintaining originality and potentially resale value.
Even if repainting is required, the benefits of PDR are that it complements this very well, drastically reducing the amount of filler, sanding, labour time needed by the bodyshop. This is known as 'push to paint' in the trade.
Yes, they usually can.

Prices start at £45+VAT for small dents. Larger dents or ones with poor access are often still under £100 (inclusive). I am happy to provide you with an estimate on viewing the dent. Send me a picture using the web form below for an estimate on the likely cost.
Send me a message describing where the dent is or send a picture and I will get back to you with a quote as soon as I can.
